There is nothing better than starting off your day with a refreshing beverage. During my work weeks, a typical morning looks like getting ready for work and rushing out the door to make it to work for 8:00am. This nutrient-filled smoothie includes kale, apple, cucumber, lemon juice, ginger, coconut oil, maple syrup, and protein powder (optional). I usually like to mix up my breakfasts, but I will incorporate this smoothie into my breakfast at least 3 times a week. In doing so, I have seen major improvements in terms of acne and overall skin health. In addition to this, I feel a boost of energy before work, which is much needed to the start of a busy day.
